Tiger Chases Woman Into Bathroom

The Miami Sentinel, a Florida newspaper, reported today that a tiger escaped and ran on the prowl through Jungle Island, a local exotic animal attraction.  The tiger followed and chased on woman until she managed to hide in a bathroom, as other terrified visitors raced for the exits and safety.  After an hour, according to reports, the animal was lured into a cage.  Fortunately, no other injuries were recorded.

As the Champlain Expo hosts a return of the Nerger Tiger & Lion show, similar accidents are only a matter of time.  One wonders, are the Essex Junction police trained to corral and contain a six hundred pound predator?  Please contact the Expo management to demand an end to wild animal entertainment--an ongoing threat to public safety.
